I wish this was not my life at this moment
I wish it were anothers

I had my annual checkup today and the doctor said I see you didn’t list any contraceptives are you considering any birth controls?
No.
Using condoms?
No.
Are you trying to get pregnant?
No.
What are you doing?

I gave in to the “never”
This will never happen
I’ll never have that
It will never end
Because I stopped believing
Stopped trying
Until someone reminded of who I am

What’s it like to be a parent?

You get lost in someone else’s mind for most of the day without ever leaving your own.

Your thoughts are not your own because your life is no longer your own.
