Modder Depmify has released a new fan mod called Resident Evil: Shattered. You can now play through the original Resident Evil (1996) with a friend. The mod supports online co-op and local split-screen.

✌️The mod keeps the original gameplay and fixed camera angles, but adds features from other Resident Evil games.

• Full two player co-op for the entire game. You can play online or split-screen.
• Zombies from Resident Evil 2 replace the original zombies.
• Weapons from Resident Evil 3, including the Western Custom, Benelli M3, and Eagle.
• The dodge move from Resident Evil 3, so you can avoid enemy attacks.
