The United States and Israel are seeking to foment an armed uprising inside Iran using a Kurdish fighting force, which has been built up since the Twelve-Day War in 2025, according to ITV News. Sources claim that since last year, weapons have been smuggled into Western Iran to arm thousands of Kurdish volunteers. They are expected to begin a ground operation within days, with possible air cover by the U.S. and Israeli Air Force.
The people voted for pro-peace Congressmen, voted for pro-peace presidents, individuals sued in federal court, US Congressmen sued in federal court, and the assembled US Congress voted to end a war. All were ineffective.
Time for a new strategy
@brucefenton We voted for pro-peace Congressmen, pro-peace presidents, individuals sued in the federal courts, US Congressmen sued in the federal courts, and finally the US Congress assembled voted to end a war. All were efforts we ineffective.
Vote harder isn't going to work
@DennisPrattFree A statewide grant of federal tax relief could actually pass, and would be more NH centric. (IRS can still try to collect, but state government/municipal government wont help them)
No citizen should be compelled to pay taxes to support an undeclared war.
@DefundWar No sugar coating.
There is zero chance of convincing part of the federal government to stop the federal government from doing what it has been doing for so long, and isn’t authorized to do under the constitution.
@scotthortonshow Our country was founded on the belief that taxation should not be levied without the consent of the people.
Mr. Trump's war doesn't have the support of the Congress nor the people.
This might be the most basic concept in the entire Constitution.
The Framers granted Congress the power to declare war. To “declare” war meant to “commence” war—to put the country in a state of war, and activate the commander in chief to take offensive action.
Draft language had granted Congress the power to make war, but the Framers were concerned that such phrasing would prohibit the president even from taking defensive action without Congress’s permission.
They amended the language to ensure that the president could “repel sudden attacks” while preserving Congress’s authority to initiate war.

Republicans like Thomas Massie, Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, MTG, Matt Walsh, and others like them denouncing the war in Iran deserve a lot of credit right now.
They are all influential in their own ways, and are facing extreme backlash for standing by their principles.
It takes courage to stand up for your beliefs during a crisis.
Most people capitulate to whatever their leader tells them to believe.
There are Democrats like Ro Khanna who also deserve credit.
But many Democrats are seizing the opportunity to denounce this war not because they believe in the principle behind it, but to score political points.
The American public is vehemently against this war, yet the current government does not care.
It is critical that we remember who betrayed their beliefs for this war so that in the future they are never trusted again.
