4km to go, asked for a hot feed next so I think she’s a bit cold. It is raining now 😟 and cloudy so no sun on the back. Slowly reeling it in, it’s obviously hurting but head down and arms still turning.

Still plodding along at about 2.5km/h so we are very happy about that. She has noticed that the Jet D’Eau doesn’t appear to be running and noted that she was being deprived of her iconic sight. Can someone go and put some money in the meter please?

We are leaving Europe... wait let me rephrase... we have moved back from French to Swiss waters. The twinkling lights of Geneva are in the distance, about 12km away!

The last few hours have been tough, the wind is not dropping and because it’s a direct headwind is causing enough chop to make her reach to breathe which is causing some shoulder pains. Daylight should start to arrive in an hour which we hope will help. She’s a trooper an...

I was using a Garmin to help check her speed but the battery has just run out after 54km. Garmin clearly don’t make batteries big enough to handle Deirdre’s swims!
