Stiff-upper-lip optimism won't kickstart the immense systemic changes that must be made to our economy so that blue collar work can support a family again. We need 100 million deportations, the end of the H1B program and total reshoring of US manufacturing.

Young men should aim as high as their natural capabilities allow. For many, this means engineering, law, medicine, and hard sciences. But the Right has foolishly made college and college debt a bogeyman and surrendered these jobs to women and foreigners.
