If you’re going for just who you hypothetically think could do well, then sure… put in ND and Miami over BYU and Bama. But if you do that, penalize both for losing big. Bama had -3 rushing yards today.

The Texas win did not prove that Texas belongs in the playoffs. It’s proved that A&M is fraudulent. Drop A&M to 6. Put Texas Tech at 4. Drop Notre Dame and put BYU in.

Playoffs scenario is very simple. Regardless of what happens in championship games the final 2 teams in the playoffs should be BYU and Alabama. If BYU wins Big 12 put Texas Tech in there. Thats it. End of story. Anything else is wrong and an injustice

I’d like to think that high-level data-based lobbying would help.

I’d like to think that last year’s SMU precedent (CFP at 11-2 w/ loss in ACC title game) would help.

I’d like to think that actually going 11-1 in a P4 would help.
