Xabi cost us the match from the start. He should have built on the momentum from the midweek game, but instead he played three of the back four out of their natural positions and kept Anthony on the bench. If he had started Anthony, we would’ve had only one player out of position. Maybe the injury to Militão still would’ve happened, but Xabi needs to focus on establishing a consistent first eleven.
