@duboistheorem@TopekaTalls KU keeps playing in their barn that must violate dozens of laws. OU plays a game every year in their POS old arena. Hell, we even played volleyball in Ahearn for years. But somehow multiple ADs couldn’t figure out how to get at least one game into the elder stateman of KS bball.
Just an all time choke job call by Andy Reid. Not that it will matter this season, but now that will be why he doesn’t go for 4th and 2 at the opponent’s 40 and sends Butker out to shank another one.
Today seems like a great day to revisit one of the most iconic K-State message board posts of all time from the legendary Fatty. He posted this on goEMAW before Collin Klein completely blew up during the 2011 season.
If the Chiefs win their final five games they'll make the playoffs, but honestly, it might be better for them not to get there.
Kansas City needs a ton of changes, and it starts with the defensive front four and the offensive scheme
@jeff_burkhart Agreed. I just also think that when you’re in a CEO-type position making millions a year, your employer should also help you with some basic messaging strategy/training if it doesn’t come naturally so that you avoid pouring gas on the fire.
Tang says “I” after getting walked by nearly 20 and our fans ACCEPT that answer as accountability
Kli says “we” need to find a way to be better at LOS, change personnel, find different schemes, and people decry it as ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY
I don’t understand people 😆
@jeff_burkhart And there are other ways you can phrase it if you want, too. But the key message is “Yeah, we know you’re frustrated, and you should be based on what we all want this program to be. We are too. And we’re gonna keep trying to get things right.”
@jeff_burkhart Yes. It’s a way of acknowledging valid fan/donor frustrations and helps calm waters and restore some unity. Snyder was great at sensing when it was needed. The coach still has to go out and make things better, of course.
