(1/2) I voted against SB 583 for the following reason: the bill promotes solar energy, which is good. However this promotion comes at the expense of increased power rates to all customers and the coal companies will have to produce power when the sun isn't shining.
Help for police officers to ward off false complaints. I was successful getting section (o) added in Judiciary Committee. SB 144 just passed the House 75-23.
It was very nice to meet Fayette County's finest: 8th graders fro m all around the county. A very bright group of young men and women visiting the capital to gain knowledge and understanding. It was truly my pleasure.

House Bill 4558 would provide a $5000 tax credit for volunteer fireman across West Virginia! We thank our first responders for their dedication to public safety and their relentless bravery. #wvpol #2020
We changed this in Judiciary, giving the homeowner an elective on how the coal operator will pay for damages to surface structures. Any good newspaper would have followed up.
Thank you for all of your votes and support, thank you for your prayers, I am humbled at the opportunity to serve another term as your member in the House of Delegates, district 32.
