The smuggled cigarettes were violative of provisions under Customs Act, 1962 and Cigarettes and other Tobacco Products Act (COPTA), 2003. Therefore, Foreign Origin Cigarettes have been seized.
The case is under investigation.
One person (godown manager) has been arrested.
Brands of foreign origin cigarettes are Top Gun, Richmond, Platinum, Paris, Manchester, Senator and Indian origin Topaz and Colonel Gold brand Cigarettes etc.

Intelligence was received regarding misdeclaration in the import of body massagers by M/s Jubilant Innovations. Examination revealed non-compliance with mandatory BIS requirements, as the rechargeable batteries did not bear the prescribed BIS marking under IS 16046,

1/3 As part of *Drug Disposal Campaign* of the *Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), Ministry of Finance* and in continuation of fight against illegal importation of NDPS goods, *Delhi Customs (Preventive) Commissionerate* destroyed a total of *17,334 gms* Cocaine.
2/3 The value of destroyed drugs is estimated around Rs.181 Crores.
These goods were seized by the Customs department for violation of Customs Act and NDPS Act.
