A huge fuck you to the UEFA filming and BBC coverage. The fact that the Danish players knew they had to shield it. The fact that they filmed the CPR through the gaps in players' legs. The fact they filmed Eriksen's wife. The fact that BBC didn't just cut back to studio. Shameful.
wild that even after people started acknowledging the humanity of palestinians, there’s still debate around calling what israel does apartheid or ethnic cleansing. literally ask israeli officials. they call what they did in gaza last week “mowing the grass”
@MarkRuffalo you should tell the families of the 200+ murdered palestinians in gaza that were declared enemy combatants in the latest idf propaganda that their occupiers aren’t actually committing ethnic cleansing when they “mowed the lawn” last week
@MarkRuffalo As an attorney, I have long avoided calling it genocide. No longer. Israel’s policies fit the legal definition, but as with any crime, there is the element of intent that must be proven. For that, there are plenty of statements from Israeli officials. Not hyperbole.
@MarkRuffalo If the term "genocide" could only ever refer to a *completed* genocide, then we could never describe one in process in order to prevent it. An entire population would have to already be wiped out before we said "ah yep, that was genocide I guess."
Please think this through.
@MarkRuffalo Hey, Mark. I love and respect your activism, but take it from a Jew, the term genocide is fitting since it is indeed the aim of Zionism to remove every Arab from the land, which has been done by ethnic cleansing and mass murders.
@YoumnaElSayed17@nida_journo@safwatkahlout At least 212 people in Gaza have now been killed, including 61 children and 36 women, says Gaza’s Ministry of Health.

I stand with the Palestinian people. My heart aches for the families who have lost loved ones. We can not stand as silent witnesses to children being orphaned and murdered and not demand for the human rights of all Palestinians! This must end. Free Palestine.
At Shifa hospital in Gaza, medical staff pray for their murdered colleague, Dr Ayman Abu Elouf, head of internal medicine, who was killed at dawn by an Israeli air strike.
His wife and five sons are still missing under the rubble of their home.
