Evening session with dental hygienist is my personal oral new year's Eve: all those flossing resolutions, a brand new canvas to mess with spaghetti,...
I got asked during a phone call whether I accepted the terms and conditions (!) and instantly felt compelled to make both customer support and me myserable by asking to read them to me really slow #CustomerService#Phone
Holy shit Twitter bought Smyte and immediately shut it down. We had a 3 years contract with them and they just disappeared overnight. No communication at all, they just turned their servers off, closed our shared support channel and walked away. What the actual fuck
Awesome, and very graphical, Norwegian info card about password security - ”You don’t use the same brush everywhere, so why do you reuse the same password?”. An excellent question!
Three years ago I made a toothbrush helmet and posted a video about it on YouTube. I could never have imagined this adventure and it’s all thanks to you. Also, just got the lab results and the tumor was noncancerous! So big fricking cheers to us and to many years ahead 🧠✨
does anyone else have a person where you can't interact with them without embarrassing yourself
and you don't know WHY. you like them. they seem to like you. but whether it's online or IRL, every time you interact, SOMETHING GETS AWKWARD AND EMBARRASSING AND YOU DIE.
“Low plastic stool, cheap but delicious noodles, cold Hanoi beer.” This is how I’ll remember Tony. He taught us about food — but more importantly, about its ability to bring us together. To make us a little less afraid of the unknown. We’ll miss him.
The ‘Iceberg of Ignorance‘ is a damn good story. It offers a powerful but painful insight into the miserable state of the modern workplace. https://t.co/2eyOptUW2u via @corp_rebels
Dropped AKG earphones by accident in the washing machine. Praying to the Flying Spaghetti Monster so rice dries them up 😩 #eating#spaghetti#pastafarism
The state of agile adoption feels worse today than it did in 2004.
Hypothesis: There are actually more teams doing agile development well today than there were in 2004. But the S/N ratio is far worse; the successes are drowned out by lazy/rushed adoptions and snake oil sales.
Agile is no more or less than
* work in small increments
* get feedback
* take engineering seriously
If someone tells you it’s more than this, they are trying to sell you something.
If someone tells you it’s less, they don’t understand agile.
