After just round 1, @IsaacDogboe successfully defended his title. Still the WBO World Super Bantamweight Champion. Keep flying the Ghanaian flag high.
Congratulations once again Champ. We are proud of you

He was one of the most humble and welcoming people you’ll ever meet, a selfless man who contributed a lot of his life and time to the public work of this country. We have indeed lost a true statesman
May his soul Rest In Peace.
I type this with a heavy heart.
I woke up today to the news of the death of my friend, His Excellency Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur and I am truly saddened.
My thoughts and sympathies first and foremost go to his wife and kids and then to the rest of his family. I can only imagine what you are going through right now
It was encouraging to see young adults engaging in these conversations now at a very young age, it makes me confident of the future where assault cases will come to its barest minimum if not eradicated completely.
Amongst other things I discussed victim blaming & shaming, victims speaking out, and the need for men to be be sensitized and more involved in initiatives like this considering majority of cases reported have men being the offenders.
Young fathers, we send prayers your way. Old fathers, we bless you. May you be even better grandfathers. Living fathers, we celebrate you. Late fathers, we remember you fondly today and every other day.
Happy father’s day!

“I am fundamentally an optimist. Whether that comes from nature or nurture, I cannot say. Part of being an optimist is keeping one’s head pointed toward the sun, ones feet moving forward” - Nelson Mandela
These words of Madiba have always kept me going. In order to achieve, we need to focus on “what can be” instead of “what might not be”.
Focusing on the negatives reduces the energy we have going through the process, and a lot of the time leads us to not achieving desired results
May those who passed rest well, may those who survived find their healing physically, mentally & emotionally. And may this country never witness such a disaster ever again.
3 years ago on this day, 3rd June 2015, Ghana mourned. We lost 154 precious lives as a result of floods and a fuel station explosion in Accra.
May the souls of the departed continue to Rest in Peace.
We as a country, as government officials, as public servants failed these individuals considering this was an accident that could have been avoided. We need to put measures in place so as to not have a tragedy of this sort reoccur.
