I have 3 projects I consider 'Active'. I bounce between:
Debriz - A Gameboy Homebrew Shooter/RPG
RWBY: Huntress of Vale - A 2D Beat em Up based on web series RWBY
Synthetic Onslaught - An RTS/RPG hybrid
Had to do my best to recreate this expression sheet
It was just TOO good to not do that despite the rig still being a WIP

@JPoliticalChess@FracturedRTS Either a screen from an early beta, or a mockup. Note the projectiles from the Allied aircraft look different then how they appeared in final game.
RWBY certainly inspired me to try building a fangame.
I attempted to animate the melee combat combos based on observations from the show itself, and even some I came up with.
Melee was something I've avoided previously in games because I didn't think I could...
Been watching this show since Volume 2 premiered. It's an understatement how much it changed indie animation, and inspired a new generation of animators!

Exactly 13 years ago #RWBY's first episode released to the public, and the impact it had reverberates to this day. From Spiderverse, to Trigun, to Murder Drones to the smallest indie projects, its influence is everywhere. Quite a legacy, and still more to come.
After seeing some Gameboy cart shaped pin merch for Gameoverse by @RubberNinja & @glitch_prod
I was inspired to prototype what an actual GBC game could look like. Built in GBStudio, this short ~10 min proof of concept plays on emulators and can even actual hardware!
Greetings, Chroniclers! Here's a progress report from our devlabs! Currently in development is:

I’m not trying to bite your head off OP, and it’s not only you to be clear: but I have to wonder how many people *say* this, when what they REALLY want isn’t just ‘positive/thoughtful analysis’, but instead ‘positive analysis videos that have over 100k views, has perfect audio, is edited like my favourite video essay YouTuber” etc etc. Because otherwise, what you want is out there: the videos are just old and were posted as those episodes released, or the creators have never gotten their flowers. You have to dig for it.
