Hi! I worked on Rumbleverse as Lead Combat Designer. I figure Iโd take some time to share some thoughts about my process, inspirations, and gush about all the amazing work everyone on the team did. Enjoy!
@DissidiaDB unfortunately ranked is not actually a showcase of skill in most cases. Itโs predominately decided by p2w or lots of luck on draws (which is possible but largely unlikely). The playing field is always skewed unfairly.
Finally made it to Omega rank in Dissidia. My pocket Gaia worked well for solo queues. She reminds me of a fighting game character. Was fun whiff punishing with giant overpowered hammer. But got the last win I needed with Lightning.
As my time on Towerborne comes to a close, it was nice to watch this review of the game from The Co-Op Bros. Appreciate everyone's kind words about the combat over the years. Next thing I do will be even better :) https://t.co/Uv7P7J0tS2
Ahead of its launch this week, we spoke to Towerborneโs developers about the journey to 1.0, transitioning away from a live service game, and how player feedback molded the game: https://t.co/HVtAke35tN
Today's the day! Towerborne 1.0 is out now! Thanks for the kind words about the combat ๐ฅฒI put my soul into this and I'm so proud of what the team was able to accomplish. Please check it out!
Towerborne's 1.0 full release brings drastic changes that significantly improve the beat 'em up RPG, even if a few small issues stop the game from reaching its full potential. Our review: https://t.co/h7K5EIjD2S
If you missed today's Towerborne stream, here's a link to the archive. I thought it went pretty well! Brings back memories of setting up streams at events like PAX lol. #towerborne https://t.co/T60A7xwPLh
