So now I'm back in Gibraltar, having flown home to help at my local armed forces day shindig and then back again yesterday, time to set sail again and head back to UK, with the expected hot weather the sea may be the coolest place to be.

Currently a balmy 17c here in Jersey, where I've holed up for a couple of nights, nice weather and lovely people. Going to explore properly tomorrow till then its beer o'clock as I was at sea yesterday so couldn't remember properly. RIP to all those who perished on the 12/6/82

Isn't it strange that you can be doing something mundane, fixing the heads, when a realisation hits you.
I've always been ambitious, ruthlessly so, but sadly I never ever had any real talent to follow through.

Just what I didn't want to hear tonight as I head South East from Littlehampton. A distress call and I am far too far away to be of help. Checked with the Coastguard and they have it in hand 👏

Going to be off Comms for a short while, I've stored the boat with food and essential spares and have decided to just sail away from it all, not sure where I will end up but sailing generally East by South East, so possibly Spain or Portugal. Will let you all know when I do 😂😂
