Recently I've been building a council spending dashboard. A few times I've come across accounts on here painstakingly sifting through public council spending and reporting any anomalies. This site is meant to eliminate much of the effort in holding our councils accountable https://t.co/XZ4twCoz9c
This site is very much a work in progress. The classifier is far from perfect and not enough councils have enough of their transactions covered. Feedback is very welcome
It's increasingly known that councils are running significant deficits due to ballooning costs in disability benefits such as child school transport and in many cases fraudulent spending. You will find thousands of transfers to companies that more or less don't exist
In the next 5 weeks people across this country will feel a tangible positive difference thanks to the changes this Labour government is making:
💰 Increasing the National Minimum Wage
❤️🩹 Freezing prescription costs
🚂 Freezing rail fares for the first time in 30 years
💵 Increasing the State Pension
👧🏻 Lifting 450,000 children out of poverty by removing the two-child cap
🏡 New rights for renters
👩🏻🏭 New rights for workers
💡 Taking £150 off your energy bills
🥣 Free breakfast clubs in schools - saving parents up to £450 a year
If anyone wanted a helpful site for tracking @Ryanair delays that tells you exactly where to go and how to claim delay compensation, I threw together https://t.co/bIIUqWj7WO!
ryanair are so shit someone built a site that tracks your delay in real-time and tells you the second you’re owed compensation
👉 https://t.co/j5XbAVGj3u ✈️ 💩
includes a cheat sheet on beating their rejection tactics
@elonmusk this is the kind of thing a Ryan would never allow to happen
(Made by @DeltaCiv, not me!)
https://t.co/bIIUqWj7WO monitors your flight and will ping you an email reminder if it becomes eligible for delay compensation. It also gives you everything you need to know when it comes to making a claim including workarounds for pesky bureaucratic rigmarole!
Disagree. If parents around the country want their children off social media, they can just enforce that themselves. It’s their responsibility, not the government’s
I absolutely back a ban on social media for under 16s, IF the parents agree.
It’s not for the Government to decide, it’s for mums and dads.
Here’s a mad idea. Why don’t we let parents parent? THEY know best.
A ban is unworkable and total state overreach. AGAIN.
