Year 1 have been loving playing some phonics games in the run up to their screening test- their firm favourite at the minute is phonics bingo!🎯🖊️

Year 1 had a lovely stay and read with parents yesterday- we were super lucky with how many parents joined us, it was a lovely session!📚

Followed by a sandcastle competition- we have had a fabulous day at the coast🌊

The coastguard popped out to speak to us, lunch time and ice cream stop!🍦

And we are off! Year one on their coach trip to Hornsea today☀️🌊

Year 1 loved today’s practical maths lesson, they got to play against each other in rolling dice’s to build two digit numbers, whoever got the biggest number won!🥇 🎲

Year 1 loved having a visit all about teeth earlier this week, they even got to be dentists and brush a dinosaurs teeth!🦷
