We want to believe our choices belong entirely to us.
Control, a 1/1 work by @deltasauce, recasts the Moirai as the algorithmic Fates of digital life. The sisters who once spun, measured and cut the thread of destiny become the systems guiding our clicks, shaping our attention and governing our time.
The more control we seek through technology, the more of it we quietly surrender. The loom is digital now, but fate is still being woven beyond our sight.

Every mythology begins with a moment that cannot yet be explained.
From the Black Water, Another World Appears, a 1/1 work by @0009ine, imagines that moment as an archaeological discovery from a history that never existed.
A textile glyph tablet records the revelation of the black water, an obsidian-like threshold through which an unknown urban future becomes visible. What lies beyond it is not another physical place, but a city first understood as prophecy.
The work reveals the fictional origin of the mythology behind Beneath the Surface, 0009’s edition released earlier in the Digital Encounters programme. It gives that mythology both its first revelation and the relic through which it survives.

@m0dest___ Will say BK, is a great dude. Took me around London, drove me around the countryside.
Even bought me cologne, and also gave me his Louis Vuitton wallet as a gift.
Truly sad to hear this.
