During the 12 month programme, a representative selection of allies, community organisations and lived experience activists will be engaged under three core strands: The Past, The Present and The Future, spanning 50 years. #RWF2024

The programme will harness the power of #creative interventions and #oralhistory to centre often hidden and overlooked community knowledge, contributions, legacies and #livedexperience narratives. #RWF2024

#RWF2024 is responding to the fact that black people are 4 times more likely than white people to be detained under the #MentalHealthAct and #BME people are 40% more likely to access #mentalhealth care via the criminal justice system than white people.

This #creative and #heritage-inspired response to the overrepresentation of black and South Asian men in in-patient wards aims to reimagine a more inclusive and equitable #mentalhealth system, guided by #racialjustice. #RWF2024
