@CreedWillems Having depth is always good. I do think long-term he's a left handed bullpen arm, but for this year, keep him stretched out and available for spot starts. He and Kremer both slot behind a healthy Bassit, but ahead of Gibson.
I understand both the bad optics and the fact that Jackson was only playing because the starter was left handed. Once the pitcher changed, logic says go to your left handed syarting 2B.
Personally, I think it better to stay with the hot hand, but this is how things seem to be done these days.
Not the first time this season that the Os have had this situation. I think they pinch hit for Colton Cowser earlier this season when the only run in the game to that point was his solo HR as well.
@TheBmoreBattery Don't forget the first 3 games of the series, both Os catchers and their 2 best hitters didn't start. Really should have won those other 2 games, but playing with your 3rd catcher and not your best DH option is tough.
@CreedWillems True but knuckleball pitchers seem to succeed and everyone knows what's coming. Bigger issue is likely that it's too hard for pitcher to change gears.
@SDembraski Since I started commuting 5 days a week and I charge from 110 V outlet, I charge to 90% on the weekend and try to keep up the rest of the week.
@GreenTexanEV Definitely EV wherever I can control it. So much better driving experience. I have only driven a Tesla Model 3 in the EV world, but it's great.
