I just realized my non-US friends probably don't know how US insurance works.
So lets say your employer offers insurance. They pay a portion and then you pay a portion. For a family, the employee pays on average about $400 per pay cycle, or $10,400 per year.
@RoArquette Me too! It's unreal the number of things that have gone horribly wrong in the past three months — every day is a new shitshow personally, financially, health-wise, and/or for the world.
@brammaravent @CA_True_North @ThatEricAlper Agreed, Studio 60 was really enjoyable. You'd all love Sports Night. (I say that as somebody that basically hates sports, BTW. It's not about sports.)
@TammyMarsters@Jambreman@redbean868 @Mary_K_Leonard @KyivIndependent Of course. But the American government does not control the airwaves/internet and LITERALLY shut down, jail, or kill journalists that report the truth.
@redbean868 @Mary_K_Leonard @KyivIndependent Sigh. On one hand it's wonderful you can't fathom life without a free media, on the other hand? Incredibly sad media has failed you so hard. Here's 3 articles about how Russians are being manipulated. https://t.co/oPaifcukHz

HUDSON #136530, A PUPPY-STILL-IN-TRAINING, DIES TOMORROW FOR BEING ‘NIPPY’ WHILE WALKING. Just 1 year old, friendly, outgoing, affectionate, house-trained and so cute. To die for an owner that FAILED him. Pledges to @TomJumboGrumbo PLEASE RT HUDSON! https://t.co/OlLjMTgFKM
@AliciLee @Toadcialism My SIL totally rocks this Kona Sol suit. She wears the top with their black swim shorts, which are awesome IMO. https://t.co/r73hdnPab6
@spizzyspose There's a huge difference between confidence and hubris. If you were as great at selling yourself as you think you are, you'd understand confidence attracts supporters & fans while hubris only makes people hope you fail. For proof of this, see every epic fail meme.
@spizzyspose You can also tell them to (a) be a young white guy, (b) grow up in a rich, touristy community so you can be a big fish in a small pond and (c) genuinely care more about making money than creating art.
@spizzyspose OK, but did you imagine how your tweet sounds to them? People that spent years studying fine arts and perfecting their craft may find your tweet insulting at best — and pretty damn offensive at worst.
@transgingerjess You can do that. I muted everything related to the Olympics because the spoilers ticked me off. On desktop, go to Profile ➡️ Settings ➡️ Privacy and Safety ➡️ Mute and Block ➡️ Muted Words.
@jackjohnsoniv7 I don't recall exactly, but I went to Catholic school growing up. I recently found a notebook from 6th grade religion class where I wrote "I'm supposed to be writing about my sins and why I'm sorry for them, but all I can think is "why should I do such ridiculous crap?!!!?"" 😂
