This TL is so massively fucked that Democratic leadership hopes the majority of their voters will go along with a "return to normal" candidate even if that candidate is corporate and Israel owned. But it's clear that for anyone outside of the 1% and outliers to do anything more than just survive long term, we need unprecedented system reform and a decisive deviation from traditionally held policy positions. Though I don't know the exact % of Dem voters that would agree with my statement, the primaries indicate a majority would, we will not accept a return to normal aka the status quo.

My heart breaks every time there is a mass shooting in this country, but this hits extra hard. I've lived in Seattle twice, went to school there, and was just at the Space Needle a few weekends ago. Gun reform efforts have taken a back seat with all the other shit Trump has been throwing at us, but they're desperately needed. Most of the country is on board with common sense gun reform!
