@Itsdatboy3 @BerlitzXV @KSatron @monsterhunter Well nvm I was sure they weren’t permanent until the end like in world and wilds. Mb
Not saying that’s a good thing tho, especially with the tempered monsters being limited in time
@Odoxi88@Ethan626794543 Easier weapons are always more played than efficient ones.
And I love the hammer to death but it has never been very appealing for new players so every new game it drops a little more
@Jeronym5 @MidnightBoshi Egg quests, two monsters quests with one really big and one super tiny,… even if they were sometimes boring, optional quests are part of what made me love MH the first time and it’s a shame they totally erase them like it was nothing
@ItsCastia@MidnightBoshi There is very few mandatory egg quests in the serie. The majority of them were always optional. And even when they were part of the MSQ, that was the first, very easy one.
And World did exactly what you want with the ingredients reward
@mussellkaleb@theory_dance@Ada2987_art I think just like Rise did with Kushala, Wilds really gave back his flowers to the Rathalos legacy. Both rath and guardian are really cool to fight and that wasn’t the case since… ever. And even his main theme came back for the occasion
@KyleHydeFan@Ada2987_art@PoyoLoco_ Pink and Azure are maybe the least interesting variant ever created with so little change from their base species. They are just waisted spot in World’s roster
@theory_dance@Ada2987_art World had literal reskin in base game with pink rathian etc, there was different monsters with an almost identical moveset like Radobaan and Uragaan.
World’s bestiary was at least 2 times weaker than Wilds in comparison.
Rath and guardian Rath don’t even fight the same way
@GlyphKnight_Max @TheDevilDucker@WisdomHolder768 I think the balance was well designed because the game is pretty much 5 to 10h of dialogue and if they fought each other to often it would break the chemistry of the team that I think was very welcomed. A little more rivalry with Olivia’s team would be great but that all
@NicojasoSosa@QuirklessStoner Souls too. And almost every gameplay focus serie that relies on knowing what you do and when you’ll do it.
That’s why I like to compare them so much with rythm games
@hashirartorias @SWMountcastle @QuirklessStoner At least from what I heard, Wilds vanilla already have some twists in the base endgame that World didn’t had back then, so even if I’m skeptical about the amount of content there will be at launch, the grind will have some versatility (if there is grind)
@JakX62@lRuDoKal@QuirklessStoner MH1 is hard because the AI of the monsters is broken, the control are clunky, and you need to farm everything to get your items. That’s not « good » difficulty imo
@hashirartorias @SWMountcastle @QuirklessStoner Tbh Generation, World and Rise weren’t so fun in the long run until their expansions and that was the case for most of the base games before them. That’s the vanilla curse. If they want to sell an expansion a year later to deepen the game mechanic they have to edge us a little
