Honestly, I wish they would've done a little more with Campaign Evolved. Given no multiplayer, it would've been cool if bits of the maps had been worked into campaign. Sidewinder fit into Assault on the Control Room. Cold Storage fit into The Library somewhere. More nods to long time fans than fully fleshed out areas.
Still looking forward in general.
@7DaystoDie Option to turn off/extend block support requirements. I wanna build without having to connect to the ground every five feet or build an entire structure from weak blocks without it collapsing.
@7DaystoDie Option to turn back on old learning system where your mostly learned by doing and not be limited by how often you find a certain book or buy one from a trader.
@asha_shar Not sure if this will be seen but, do your best to take corporate out of gaming during creation. If a game aims to be as fun as possible and not a shareholder checklist, it'll do great. Respect the players' time and money. And above all, firmly grasp how the established community perceives loyalty to what they love. Whether this be an established franchise or a new world in a beloved genre. If those that see themselves as a like a Vanguard can champion your leadership, the masses will follow. Gamers have grown tired of AAA saying they know better than we do about our own wants and then blaming us if it doesn't work out.
In short, massively shrink the expanse corporate has built with dollars between player and product.
@ShakaBrahMaxxx@7DaystoDie Agreed. If the balance of the post apocalypse zombie survival is unbalanced because a water jar can be reused... The balance isn't great to begin with. "Tool, not rules." is always great to go by.
Got the chance to play @ArcadeDriving tonight. I've always been a big fan of Burnout with Takedown being my favorite and 100% completing it. While I like Wreckreation, it could use a fair amount of tweaks. Cars feel too "glidey" and is even worse the second you get off-road. In Burnout Paradise you had signals to help you find the Finish but it is far less so in this game. For some events, I found myself having to open my map just to see where to go. There's a fair amount more I could mention if any of the devs are interested in feedback. As a Burnout fan, I really want to see this game succeed in every way so we get even more in the future!
Hey, you possibly want to read what I said again? Maybe slowly? I said it's "not" like it would do that. Can't claim to know what I think when you can't read what I say. Lol
Also, most like myself, aren't aware it was a collab. I don't play Ninja Gaiden, nor do I keep up with it. Whenever the helmet was in Halo 3, I believe it stayed permanently. However, it has been a long time so I'd have to look into it. So, to this today, I only see it as a Halo "Ninja" helmet and not a collab with licensed availability.
However, if the old one was permanent, then I would assume both sides agreed to FOMO to get players to download games for nostalgia feelings. Mine is deleted so I would be one of the target audience.
But I could be wrong, maybe @ske7ch could clarify on the licensing bit. As much as he could anyway. If Halo Studios wants it permanent but are held back by contract to keep it limited, then I don't see them at fault at all.
@ODSTaco@ske7ch@HCS Or, now hear me out, don't take it away at all. The asset is already made. The literal reason for having limited runs of items like this is to capitalize on FOMO. It's not like the helmet file will degrade over time and break the game if they leave it...
@KevinCreech81@7DaystoDie Yes, as they said in the link. My question, while possibly worded poorly, was more asking for clarification on how the console options may be expanded on in the future so they don't feel so limited in needless ways.
@OverlordFox@7DaystoDie Yes, because that is one of the console options. I was more pointing out how the console options were limited and was seeing if they'd give clarification on how they are going to expand it.
@TruthSlinger92@7DaystoDie "Reducing complexity of settings" is a bit vague so my question was more for clarification. So yes, I did "click it and read it".
Properly compile data I give it. Was trying yesterday to condense information into a single document. I had copied 32 pages of info that I had gotten from the ai itself. When I gave it back and asked it to simply organize the data and glean redundant information, all it kept doing was regurgitating high level bullet points, leaving out all the details, and condensing 32 pages into 2 and barely that. I would tell it to keep all the details to which it just did the same thing over again after admitting it was wrong. No matter what I said, new conversations, or whatever, it just simply couldn't do that.
@MintBlitz I'd want a reboot but I don't have the faith that it'd be done right. My idea of a reboot is adding cut content, reimagining levels and cutscenes, but keeping story and characters the same until after Halo 3. Halo 4 - Infinite can be scrapped in their entirety.
