I've had to spend months untangling the idea that following Jesus is tied into follow a certain perspective of politics.

This is so exhausting and frustrating.

When a preacher tries to make Jesus relevant, people end using Jesus, instead of worshiping Jesus.

When a preacher preaches Jesus for who he is, people end seeing how relevant Jesus is, and they start worshiping him.
