This is a very big shame A father and a traditional ruler the Apetu of Ipetumodu in Osun State, Oba Joseph Oloyede has been sentenced in the United States to over four years in prison for a $4.2 million COVID-19 fraud.

What example is he setting for his children? What lesson is he giving to the very people he is supposed to lead? A traditional ruler is meant to be a custodian of truth, honor, and integrity but instead, he chose disgrace and global embarrassment.

Enough is enough When will our so-called leaders stop putting Nigeria to shame? From politicians to rulers or is it how they behave from the western part of Nigeria? the world now sees us as a country where corruption is celebrated and criminals occupy the seats of honor.

This is a call to the people of Ipetumodu and every western community warn your leaders, warn your kings, warn your politicians STOP putting Nigeria to shame. The world is watching, and every disgraceful act reduces the respect of the entire nation.

Nigeria deserves leaders who uplift, not leaders who steal and tarnish our image.
