@SaraGreathouse1 @RuthHatton11 @adamfare1996 PIP is not assessed on the impairment itself but how it affects day to day tasks. The problem is, many of the assessors have limited, sometimes zero understanding of certain conditions, this is why PIP is difficult to get.
To be "Radically Genuine" is to embrace vulnerability & honesty, to express one's thoughts & feelings w/ sincerity, & to engage in genuine & meaningful connections w/ others. Being true to your core values, beliefs, & identity, rather than conforming to societal expectations.
A common misconception about people with chronic illnesses/disabilities is that if we just “push through” we’ll feel better. But “pushing through” lands many of us in a flare or even indefinitely worsens our symptoms.
