🤔 Could you tell which party you’re voting for on the sample ballot below?

According to the DOJ’s new lawsuit, having Daniel J. Sullivan on Alaska's ballot could confuse voters who want to vote for the incumbent, Sen. Dan Sullivan (R).

Alaska’s 2026 ballot clearly labels Sen. Sullivan as the incumbent — something it had not done on prior ballots: https://t.co/bZZGuepEG8

In a rare Sunday hearing, the Trump administration made its case for why California must stop counting the ballots of more than 20,000 people they allege are “likely” noncitizens.

But the DOJ has struggled to explain to even a federal court the administration’s methodology for flagging the 20,000 individuals: https://t.co/kyEeBQdTbD

NEW: The DOJ charged James Comey for a third time, accusing the former FBI director of unlawfully transmitting national defense information to the press in 2016.

The move marks an escalation in Trump's ongoing retaliation campaign to prosecute his political foes. https://t.co/5GNQ4Gob6R

🚨BREAKING: In a blow to the DOJ, the 9th Circuit rejected its request to bypass a lower court to bar California from counting around 20k ballots from people it alleges are "likely" noncitizens.

The ruling comes the night before the parties are scheduled to have a hearing before a lower court.

🚨BREAKING: The Trump administration asked Washington to set aside ballots from around 400 registered voters it claims may be noncitizens.

The alarming request comes amid the DOJ's legal effort to compel California to do the same to 20k voters.

In the last few weeks, the Trump administration has:

🔺 Tried to stop California from counting 20k ballots
🔺 Preemptively sued Alaska from certifying results of a key Senate race — if the Republican loses
🔺 Inserted itself into Michigan's election

That’s not all. Here's how it's already meddling in the midterms 👇 https://t.co/ffJyXKNqcM

NEW: The DOJ argued a legal doctrine that courts should avoid last-minute changes to election rules isn't relevant to its bid to disenfranchise 20k Californians it alleges are noncitizens.

Why? Because doing so weeks away from the midterms should be "simple." https://t.co/RJa5NJYaXg

NEW: Texas U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico’s new ad blasts opponent Ken Paxton’s “crackdown on voters of color.”

It features a Black woman prosecuted for voting when she mistakenly believed she was eligible. The charges came amid Paxton's public campaign to stoke fears of illegal voting. https://t.co/6ymRqeIlFU

NEW: Trump is offering $1 million to anyone who reports cases of "voter fraud" in the midterms or past elections that lead to a conviction.

It's his latest attempt to present rare cases of illegal voting as a widespread problem that threatens U.S. elections. https://t.co/dSeMUS0291

WIN: Last week, the 7th Circuit denied a right-wing request for a full rehearing of its request for access to Wisconsin’s complete voter registration list, which includes private data.

The move comes after a three-judge panel for the circuit and a lower court already ruled against the group.

🏞️ The administration is asking a court to block certification of the results if Sen. Sullivan loses, but would have won if he received the votes cast for Daniel J. Sullivan.

So far, the logic of the suit doesn’t fly with many experts. https://t.co/vmc6pxFaqp

🏞️ Democrats have asked a federal court to toss the DOJ’s lawsuit, saying, “This case never should have been filed.”

“DOJ’s Complaint is wholly baseless. The fact that DOJ nonetheless chose to file it raises profound constitutional concerns.” https://t.co/tLees4UkXw
