Sweden Prepares to Transfer Gripen Fighter Jets to Ukraine.

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson will announce today the free transfer of JAS 39 C/D aircraft to Ukraine.

At the same time, Stockholm plans to initiate negotiations regarding the sale of additional aircraft to Ukraine—specifically the newer JAS 39E model.

It is expected that Ukraine will pay for these fighter jets using funds received through an EU loan.
