@ryanhammer09@sportsponge03 Kalkbrenner was amazing that year and especially the next, but watching Dante seemingly eat him alive till he ran out of gas in the OT periods really impressed me. Just seems like a guy who would have killed it in the nba 2 decades ago
If anyone at 2K is watching this tournament, this is why we need all the teams in a NCAA basketball game instead of just 100. Cinderellas and Mid-Majors are what make the tournament and college basketball so amazing, not just the big brands!
@ByJonWalker@AnaBellMedia The way he’s playing makes me believe he’d fit perfectly with the Warriors instead of the Pelicans. Pelicans already have to many ball dominant players while Steph is a great off the ball guy along with a good playmaker in the pick&roll Trey could thrive with and without the ball
@CreighTakes A week of rest and the right matchups for us would be awesome. Got my hopes up for the Big East Tournament. More importantly I hope Jaxson Richardson was watching and commits to us tomorrow. RDJ
@ryancassidycbb I don’t watch a ton of Uconn basketball, but the three games I have he has shown he absolutely has the talent to go this year. Been one year and I already can’t wait to hopefully never play him again lol
@MrC_Mathematics It’s interesting to me because I think he shoots better from the wings than the corners but maybe I’m just not watching as closely as I’d like to think
@mjdemarinis It’s interesting how both schools obviously hate each other but we almost all refuse to call each other rivals. Wonder if that’ll change with time or not
@12otrips Had a conversation with my dad about that, we’re slightly biased because when we play him he looks terrible because of our scout and game plans, but seemingly no one else understands how to stop him so everyone thinks he’s at least a good player while most creighton fans do not
@BigEastSavant3@yuldog1 Disagree with you on the Creighton take, St, Johns has a ton of talent, but I think they took a step down defensively and that was their bread and butter last year, but I can absolutely see both teams taking steps back from last year so we’ll see
@SkersOnTop How long did you guys employ Tim Miles again? Huss was like 56-18 in two seasons at High point and brought them to their first NCAA tournament in program history, I think time will tell but this is a great move for the future
@HolyLandofHoops Not disagreeing with the replacing Mac part at all. But this is maybe the next best thing for us. Huss is an amazing recruiter and in the future if he can get an amazing X’s and O’s assistant coach we could be just as successful in the future 🤞🤞
@CreighTakes Maybe a weird pick, but @ByJonWalker is a great Creighton account even if he is a journalist and not maybe considered a “Creighton account.” Always shows love to them and does a great job interacting with everyone on here
@12otrips Mac, his staff, and the players never cease to amaze me with how well they perform every year. I genuinely thought when we lost Pop our season outlook needed to change, instead we reached about the same point as the preseason hype besides ncaa seed
@Jays_Classic Love Mac, but we’ll never win games like this if we can’t play 8-9 consistently. Fedor going down didn’t help but our starters played to many minutes for 3 games in 3 days
@CreighTakes 15 minutes to get our guys some rest and to reiterate that we need to be tough. If the refs are going to let them play we have to be tougher and finish some of these looks
