I do not believe in the idea of "this isn't reversible" in the medical sense.

I think you would benefit greatly from consulting a second or third doctor specializing in tinnitus research, treatments, etc. There may be an answer.

@spicyliltoaster Never confuse community with salvation. You are seeking community. You can find it in all sorts of places. Religion poisons the dishonest, and is carried like a torch, but used as a blade. You will find more truth with people who find other ways to come together, honestly.
