@ everyone liking this: thanks. It's nice to know you like and are following along. I'd like to hear your thoughts in words, if you can. Promise I won't bite and I'll be super thrilled you said something โค๏ธ I like talking about my work
โค๏ธโ๐ฅ PENULTIMATE CHAPTER โค๏ธโ๐ฅ to In The Shadow Of Your Heart - Tension reaches a breaking point, things will never be the same, and the black and red suit makes an appearance! And just what was Daigo up to anyway? https://t.co/MI7tWV9R6B
I um... care a lot about these last couple of chapters. I worked really hard on them and I think they show some of my best work. It'd be nice if you guys wanted to say something about them, or just read, it's cool. ๐ Have a nice day.
@sotenborimanlet Oooh, that's such a nice picture of Kiryu, Brahk ccc: I really love the gentle lines there. Almost like Majima's seeing a vision ;) Heat waves getting to ya buddy? xp
@LightSm4rt So I think it's mostly down to what my relationship was to the thing when I left it. If I loved it when I left, the love is still there and can excite me again. If I left with pain... That can be hard.
@LightSm4rt Other things, if I left with a sour taste in my mouth, it's hard to come back. Like HP and Sherlock are hard to enjoy now. But I do still recognize the things I liked about it when I see them, which... Is kinda sad. Kinda nostalgic. Bittersweet. Sometimes painful.
It's been mad here, so sorry for the quiet. I got a new job on the heels of my parents paying my student loans off (!!!!??!?!!!) I'm just... None of it feels quite real
@PlanetofFinks I actually think the Witcher series is pretty solid, all told. But I haven't played any Witcher games, so I'm not a good judge of its credibility as an adaptation.
@PlanetofFinks ...which is hard to convey in the confines of a standalone 120 minutes. Video games, on the whole, are better expressed on the length of a tv series. Which is perhaps why the Witcher is going over better; it just has more appropriate scope.
