⚠️Rant Time, scroll if you don't give a shit. So, is "Stranger Than Heaven" really going to end up being like K3, where people become so entitled that they have to announce that they won't be buying the game or playing it because of what happened with K3? Keep in mind, you don't need to announce it. No one cares. I 100% K3, and I'd do it again. Nobody has to give a shit about my opinion either, but I truly believe that you shouldn't let something that you, yourself cannot help derail you from enjoying a series, whether it be a game, a movie, a show. People don't hire people based on their past or personality. People hire people for their experience, and talent. It's happened with Halo, with EA Games, Blizzard, Microsoft, Sony. People aren't forced to support these companies, but I personally think it is really dumb to just assume that RGG's future is doomed due to K3, or the fact that people let the media control their beliefs over what they enjoy. You, as a person, would be a lot happier if you would just enjoy something without the bother of media, and the choices that a company decides to make. If you enjoy Yakuza/LikeADragon, then don't be like those people out there who were, and still are trying to tell people what to do with their money or what to play and how to play it. Do not get dragged into media, do not let it consume you. Please, for the love of God, block me, if you're on that train. I just want my games, my characters, I don't give a shit about the media, I don't give a shit about the company and the choices they've made. I just love their games, that's all I care about. I'm just not the type of person to be bothered by that kind of shit and be so fucked up to the point of where I hate those games, or dislike those people, I'm not that petty. If I love the games, and the characters, I will play them. Especially if I'm attached to the characters. If you love something enough, you will deal with the changes, you will deal with the problems, and you will get through them because your dedication is pure. Thank you. 🖤

⚠️So, I'm about to go on a rant. Feel free to scroll. So, Goro Majima. Goro fucking Majima. Right? He's my number one, aside from Kashiwagi & Mine. He's very important to me. Which means I really hate when people mischaracterize him. Now, I'm pretty sure we've all had our moments when we've done this. It's fine. We all do it. But the one thing you should never do is change his personality. Of course, let me remind you, people are allowed to have their own opinions, their own beliefs, but if you've followed me long enough, it means you're aware that I couldn't care less how much someone disagrees with me, because what I think shouldn't affect you to any degree. I've seen quite a few people say that Majima's true personality or true form is directly from Y0. Now, whether you're a bad judge of character or can't read between the lines, I don't know, but that was not his true self, only to some degree. I'm fully convinced he would have done anything to get back into Shimano's good graces despite his trauma, and due to his ties to Sagawa, he was fully caged in and restrained. He WOULD have killed Makoto, but he felt sorry for her, and got in too deep, which led to his relationship and connection with Lee, who reminded him of Saejima quite a lot. Due to this, he got close with Makoto, and fell in love with her, but was fully aware that he could never have her, so he was destined to make sure she lived a good life, blind or not. Majima has a big heart. He cares a lot, maybe a little too much at times, and that's a big reason why I love him, but he himself has always been The Mad Dog. Before Y0, and before the rubber bullet incident. We didn't get to see much about his character from his earlier life, but he was ready and willing to go on a murder spree, and whether he ended up dead or locked up with his brother, it didn't matter as long as it was with him. What we see and know now was not a way to heal from his traumatic past of being in the hole and being tortured. He has always been a wild card, he has always been crazy, and he has always been the way he is, and we didn't see or know that because of how caged in he was, or perhaps it's because he was so young at the time. For example, since the reveal of his earlier "attire" he was in the Bōsōzoku, a very well known biker group from the earlier 1950's and even 1980's. At one point this specific gang of people were known to be pretty violet, and crazy. Take that into consideration. As he mentioned to Sagawa at the end of Y0, he was going to live his life his way and be the craziest he's ever been, which indicates that even in the past, he's always been a little unhinged. I mean, have y'all seen his Irezumi? A tattoo that fucking big can't go on just anyone, especially with the symbolization of the Hannya and Snakes fitting him so goddamn well. Obviously, he was, and has always been special amongst the Yakuza, a legend for being who he is, and taking no shit, even with how caring he is, and for people to think he used to be this young and innocent thing who's handing out chocolates from a basket, kind of pisses me off. I've studied his character so much, as I plan to do with the rest, because that's how I operate when it comes to writing a story, and I just can't help myself with this.
