As applicants decide which Pulmonary and Critical Care programs to apply to, we would like to tell you all about our fellowship program.
First off, our mission is to train tomorrow’s leaders in pulmonary and critical care medicine
@TanyaMarvi@DenPulm@CU_PSCCM More Key Learning points:
Therapeutic options for hemoptysis arising from central pulmonary arteries are limited.
TXA administration may be beneficial in massive hemoptysis with special consideration for intravenous administration when bleeding is distal to an obstruction.
We had a great time at the @CUAnschutz Block Party today. Christiaan Rees, MD, PhD and Jazmin Maceo helped us running our video bronchoscopy simulation and we had some PULM swag to give away. Thank you to all who stopped by!
Overheard at Education Day:
- “I am a CPAP person for sure”
- “Transition me to DNI”
- “I actually really love this!”
- “I am micro-aspirating”
Grateful for the opportunity to trial NIV to inform our patient care!
✅ Another successful Division hike! Some wonderful bonding between fellows and faculty at altitude (and a chance for those of us who recently moved from sea level to push the bounds of our SpO2...!)
@CU_PSCCM
So excited for these wonderful humans to grow into family over the next 3 years at @DenPulm 🫁🩻 And where better to get our first fellows group photo than in front of the iconic #PatriotStore?!
Many congratulations to our @CUDeptMedicine#ElevationAward winner this month, Ms Cheryl Loudd from @CU_PSCCM! Cheryl exemplifies and embodies the spirit of this award - Going Above and Beyond for All!
