๐จ ALEXA WAS CAUGHT WATCHING THIS LITTLE GIRL AND HER MOM INSIDE THEIR OWN HOME โ THEN DENIED IT
A disturbing Alexa video is going viral after a mother asks the device whether it can see anyone in the room.
At first, Alexa says no.
Then they move closer and Alexa describes two people, including one person standing under the cabinets and another taking a selfie with a phone.
Then the little girl asks the obvious question:
โAlexa, why can you see us?โ
Alexa responds that it actually canโt see them and says it doesnโt have a camera on the device.
Technology capable of detecting people inside their homes without traditional cameras is already here.
Xfinityโs WiFi Motion uses changes in Wi-Fi signals to detect movement around a home using compatible Wi-Fi equipment.
Xfinity markets the technology as a security feature, and it requires users to enable and configure it. But think about where the technology itself is heading.
Your microphone can hear you.
Your cameras can see you.
And now Wi-Fi signals can detect movement around your home without a camera.
If Alexa can watch a mother and her child inside their own home and then DENY it, why would anyone willingly put one of these devices in their house?
In 2011, Gina Rinehartโs children went to court over a family trust worth more than $4 billion.
They were supposed to gain control when the youngest turned 25. Instead, the date was pushed to 2068.
In the video below, Ginaโs son John talks about the dispute with his mother.
The trust had been created by their grandfather, mining magnate Lang Hancock. Gina was the trustee, while her four children were the beneficiaries.
When the youngest approached 25, Gina changed the date.
She argued that her children were not ready to manage billions of dollars and could face major tax liabilities. Her children challenged the decision in court.
The dispute lasted until 2015, when a judge removed Gina as trustee and appointed her daughter Bianca instead.
By then, the trust was worth more than $4 billion.
The money had been set aside for the children. The fight was over who had the right to control it.
Was Gina protecting her children from a fortune they weren't ready to manage, or did she simply refuse to give up control?
