Happy Father’s Day to every man who has had the courage to take on the responsibility of bringing another human being into the world and giving them the privilege of carrying his name.
You provide, you teach, you build, you protect, and none of your sacrifices go unnoticed.
Especially in today’s world, where society often downplays the sacrifices fathers make and the amount of work that goes into raising children to become responsible members of society, we celebrate you today.
Happy Father’s Day.
I have never seen my dad sad, teary eyes or anything. Strong & cheerful man always making funny jokes and angry when we messed up.
When my beloved uncle died, he was arranging everything making sure everything went well. While everyone was teary.
He was emotionless!
When they brought him from the mortuary, his countenance changed but he was still running points.
When they laid him down in the ground, that was when he dawned on him his beloved brother was not coming back.
I have never seen an adult cry bitterly and uncontrollably ever in my life.
The second time was when I went with my friend to bury his 7-month-old pregnant wife... He didn't cry when we laid her down to the ground. He cried when we went to pick her up at the mortuary... God! even the morticians shed tears.
I didn't cry at the mortuary or when we were laying her down. I started crying uncontrollably when myself and my friend (the husband) were shoveling sand to cover the casket after the pastors left.
We finished and we both sat down and cried.
You can't know how to express pain when it hits you...
I pray you'll not experience the death of a young one... It's the hardest thing anyone can face!.
