🇹🇭 Supahanat Mueanta - he made his debut for the Thai senior national team at just 16 years old. Only 21 he averages 0.73 goal contributions per 90 for Thailand. Settling in well in Belgium as well - recently became the first Thai player to score in the top flight after moving to OH Leuven in the summer.

🇭🇰 Michael Udebuluzor - The 19 year old forward has 9 goal contributions in 10 games for Ingolstadt’s II team. He also has four goal contributions in 6 games after making his debut for Hong Kong in September. He’s tall and lively and will cause problems to defenders in this tournament.

🇮🇩 Elkan Baggott - The 21 year old is 1.96 metres and he’s a solid centre-back. Currently, at Ipswich where he has done well against the likes of Fulham and Wolves in the League Cup this season. Will be key at the heart of Indonesia’s defence at the tournament.

🇯🇵 Mao Hosoya - I’m not expecting the 22 year old forward to start for Japan but he could be their super sub at the tournament. Scored his first goal at senior international level back in November and he got an assist in a friendly against Thailand this month as well. Scored 17 goals in all competitions last season - expect him to make a big move to Europe soon.

🇺🇿 Abbosbek Fayzullaev - The 20-year-old has the potential to be the next break-out star from the Russian league after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia he’s got 8 goal contributions in 13 games in the league this season and 11 goals and assists in all competitions. A really exciting diminutive player with great technique and vision.

🇰🇷 Lee Kang-in - he’s made a really promising start to life at PSG. A brilliant technically gifted player. Only 22 years old - he’s got 7 goal contributions in his last 5 caps for South Korea and he should dominate this tournament.

🇯🇵 Takefusa Kubo - with Kaoru Mitoma out injured during the beginning of the tournament, Kubo could shoulder some of the responsibility in his absence for Japan. He’s already got 10 goal contributions this season and he’s always really fun to watch.

🇮🇩 Marselino Ferdinan - As a teenager he made 16 goal contributions in 34 games from midfield in Indonesia’s top flight. He’s still only 19 and currently plays in Belgium. Last summer, he put in a solid performance against Argentina winning 8 of his 12 defensive duels. Definitely, one to watch.
