Iran fires on a US base, and this time everything gets shot down.
Iran's Revolutionary Guard launched ballistic missiles at a US base overnight, Axios reports it targeted forces in Jordan.
Centcom says every missile was intercepted.
Oil spiked on the news, Brent gained 3.42% to $86.97 and WTI added 3.58% to $82.09.
China's Foreign Ministry hit back at the new US ban on Chinese robots and power inverters, saying Washington is stretching the definition of national security.
Macro: the Fed held rates at 3.50%-3.75% in a 9-3 vote, with Hammack, Kashkari, and Logan dissenting in favor of a 25bp hike, a rare three-way hawkish split.

Bitcoin ticked up 0.8% to $64,344 into the decision on a weaker dollar.
The Philadelphia semiconductor index is down more than 22% this month, its sixth-worst month ever, on worries over circular AI financing and Chinese competition. Healthcare and financials ETFs closed at record highs the same day the tech ETF hit its lowest since May, and the Dow rose 1.03% while the Nasdaq slipped 0.22%.
DeFi: https://t.co/TSEHOo9byM is reimbursing everyone caught in the $60 million liquidation cascade its SK Hynix perp triggered Monday, when the mark price crashed from about $1,128 to $917 on one thin Korean trade, the same kind of oracle glitch that hit Hyperliquid's SK Hynix market this week.

Day 266 — War day 146.
13 nights of strikes, and Congress is finally pushing back.
US strikes hit Iran for a 13th consecutive night, this time targeting Khuzestan province near the capital. Iran retaliated with drones and missiles on Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Erbil, hitting Al-Azraq airbase in Jordan directly.
The House voted 214-208 to direct Trump to end the war or get explicit congressional authorization to continue it.
Senate Republicans blocked a matching measure hours later, so it's symbolic for now, but it's the first real crack in Congress on this.
Iran rejected Trump's ceasefire proposal, delivered by Iraqi PM Ali al-Zaidi. Tehran says a temporary deal that leaves Hormuz control unresolved isn't worth taking.
Netanyahu heads to Washington Monday at Trump's invite, meets him at the White House Tuesday, then attends Senator Lindsey Graham's funeral service in DC.
Graham, a leading Iran-war hawk in the Senate, died July 12 from a sudden aortic dissection.
Oil topped $100 a barrel for the first time since May.
Macro: fresh 10% to 12.5% tariffs kicked in as the prior global 10% penalty expired.
DeFi: Robinhood Chain keeps ripping, Uniswap volume there is through $6B in the first ten days.
Early ETH/TSLA and blue chip stock LPs, GME, AAPL and GOOGL paired against USDG, are printing triple digit APRs while liquidity is still thin.
Won't last but fun while it does.

Day 267 — War day 147.
Trump halted planned strikes for the first time in 13 nights, the first real crack toward de-escalation.
Trump reportedly ordered the US military to stand down from planned strikes on Iran Friday night, despite having previously approved the attack. The decision came hours after Oman-mediated talks resumed over reopening the Strait of Hormuz, with reports suggesting the talks made progress.
Zelenskiy says Russian satellite surveillance shows Moscow is helping Tehran direct strikes across the Middle East.
If confirmed, that drags Russia deeper into a war it was already suspected of assisting through drone tech.
Iran's Oil Ministry says it sold $11.5B of oil during the war and $6.5B during the ceasefire period, already past 60% of its annual budgeted oil revenue despite sanctions.
The pressure campaign isn't choking exports the way Washington wants.
Macro: US investment-grade corporate bond funds posted -$7.1B in outflows last week, the largest since the 2020 pandemic, as rising oil prices reignite inflation fears and heavy AI CapEx spending unsettles credit markets.
The S&P 500 erased its gains and turned red Thursday as the war escalated and tech stocks fell.
DeFi: Fidelity Digital Assets is launching FIDD, its first stablecoin, on Ethereum.
Samsung Wallet is adding native stablecoin support, one of the first major phone makers to build it directly into the device.
