@seb_dre @layerfMRI „Brain mapping in zoonotic diseases: Neuroinfectiology of Bcbva in chimpanzee brains“ by Carsten Jäger et al. (#1000) showcases how brain imaging can help in understanding zoonotic disease. 4/n
@seb_dre @layerfMRI „Short-range connectivity within Broca's area“ by Juliane Damm et al. (#287) takes a fresh look at the language network using 0.8mm high resolution fiber tracking of short association fibers in Broca‘s area. Using the ultra strong gradients of our Connectom MRI. 3/n
„Laminar spatiotemporal dynamics of CBV and BOLD signals using fast sampling at 7T fMRI in humans„ by Sebastian Dresbach et al. (#1299) on fast dynamics in laminar VASO/GE fMRI. Great collaboration inc. @seb_dre @layerfMRI

On today and tomorrow at #OHBM2023 are:
„Cortical depth-dependence of ocularity decoding in high-resolution fMRI at 7T“ by Daniel Haenelt et al. (#1157) looks at how ocular dominance columns vary across cortical depth with 0.8mm resolution GE-/SE-echo and VASO sequences. 1/n
We are presenting our latest work at #OHBM2023 on in-vivo histology, high-resolution U-fiber mapping, laminar/columnar fMRI and even brain mapping in zoonotic diseases. Come and visit our posters if you are interested in these topics. More tweets with details coming up.
Mark your calendars; the next virtual layer-fMRI webinar is scheduled for April 20th.
It will be about the connection of Cognitive Models and Cortical Layers.
Speakers are Floris de Lange, Andre Bastos, and Michelle Moerel

@layerfMRI Small clarification: It doesn‘t simulate sequence parameters but it takes (among other things) imaging specific parameters like PSF width, response amplitude and noise characteristics and simulates imaging and analysis of column patterns. Thanks @layerfMRI for the tweet!
