Every time, the State of Israel has made the same mistake.
Oslo brought the Second Intifada, forcing us into Operation Defensive Shield. Then came the Disengagement, which brought October 7th and forced us into 6 wars and operations against Hamas in Gaza since then: Cast Lead, Pillar of Defense, Protective Edge, Guardian of the Walls, Breaking Dawn, and the Swords of Iron war.
​What is certain is that if we had to launch 6 operations against them, something failed terribly, as you know all too well. What I understand is that the Disengagement taught Gaza that if it makes trouble for everyone, it receives gifts in return.
