President Trump welcomes 16-year-old lifeguard Ryder Williams and 10-year-old Nathaniel Rai into the Oval Office after video of Williams’ dramatic ocean rescue went viral.

Williams raced into rough California surf after Nathaniel was swept into the water and pounded by powerful waves. Another lifeguard then helped pull them both safely to shore.

Trump calls the teenager an inspiration to young Americans as Nathaniel’s father says he is “beyond grateful” to the lifeguard who helped save his son.

Williams, who hopes to become a firefighter, credits his training and says he hopes the rescue inspires others to look out for the people around them.

Gun rights advocates are celebrating a "huge" legal win after a judge ruled a firearms restriction unconstitutional.

"This is the first time in 92 years that any gun owner has been able to do this."

Gun Owners of America and Silencer Shop have notified the Trump administration that they plan to begin transfers without the federal registration and approval process.

Just after midnight Thursday, two gun owners walked out of a Texas firearms dealer with silencers without first completing the process that has governed such transfers for generations, according to Gun Owners of America.

The Justice Department is not expected to appeal the decision, according to Rep. Andrew Clyde.
