Around 120 Ukrainian children were hiding in a shelter in Mariupol.
They were scared. They were begging for help.
No one came to save them.

Then russian bombs hit the shelter.

We still don’t know if any of them survived.

We owe them justice.

🤬 Russian forces killed two emergency medical workers in an FPV drone strike in Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, on the morning of August 12, according to volunteer Denys Khrystov.

Their vehicle was clearly marked as an ambulance and was heading toward a local hospital when it was struck.

Canada’s “Highway of Heroes” is a stretch of Highway 401 in eastern Ontario where Canadian soldiers who have died in Canada’s effort supporting the United States after the terror attacks of 9-11 are respectfully driven from the airbase in Trenton to Toronto and then to their final resting places. 158 Canadians died during their Afghanistan mission, thousands more injured, all in support and solidarity with the United States. 🇨🇦

Since overnight, emergency operations have been underway to handle the fallout of a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia. The city was targeted with North Korean ballistic missiles, Zircon hypersonic missiles, and guided aerial bombs.

During yesterday’s Ukrainian drone attack on Ufa, Russia deployed an A 50 over the city, an airborne early warning aircraft used to detect and track aerial targets.

Over the past month, there have been increasingly frequent reports of Russia deploying its surviving A 50s during Ukrainian long range drone attacks on deep rear regions.

More than 95% of Ukrainian prisoners of war interviewed by the UN reported torture or ill-treatment in Russian captivity.

UN Human Rights Representative Claudia Fuentes Julio said at a UN Security Council meeting that the vast majority of Ukrainian POWs interviewed described torture or other forms of ill-treatment in Russian captivity.

Documented cases include beatings, electric shocks, sexual violence, attacks by dogs, and mock executions.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the UN has also documented the executions of 129 Ukrainian POWs and the deaths of another 48 in detention.

Russia, meanwhile, denied the allegations, dismissing them as a “disinformation campaign.” A Russian representative also accused Ukraine of mistreating Russian prisoners of war.
