At Mencap, we know that for too long, too many people with a learning disability haven’t received the social care they need to live healthy and happy lives.
It's disappointing that the NHS consultation isn't accessible yet for people with a learning disability, with no easy read.
We've asked for the issue to be fixed promptly so that people with a learning disability can take part.

It's 13 years since the abuse at Winterbourne View was uncovered by BBC Panorama.
But there are still over 2,000 people with a learning disability and/or autism stuck in mental health hospitals at an increased risk of abuse.
This is unacceptable - we need action now.
