@BrandonTregidgo First time I’ve thought about you lot since we played you actually. Thought it was actually a very harsh sacking as you had lots of injuries and your experienced players downed tools.
Yeh all good, was always a bonus match after sealing our main objective. Better team won.
Nice copy, Alan. I’m sure the British viewership tuned into this British broadcast expecting to hear the views of David Ginola and Sylvain Distin, only to be bitterly disappointed. 🙄
Saturday’s broadcast was all Arsenal, all the time, thanks to fan presenter Laura Woods and a pundit roster loaded lopsidedly in favour of the north Londonders at the expense of PSG balance, writes Alan Tyers ⬇️

Kai Havertz loves a final goal. Marquinhos poor clearance, deflected off Trossard, Havertz great pace and finish. Poor keeping though. Unconvincing Safonov to stand up. (The sold Donnarumma would probably have saved that) #UCLfinal#PSGARS
For the group stages definitely, but I would say against a better side in the knockouts a more transitional/speed threat on the left (Rashford or Gordon) needs to come in.
🚨📊| THE STAT THAT DEFINES ARSENAL'S TITLE-WINNING SEASON.🏆
Across 61 matches in all competitions, Arsenal have been behind for just 403 minutes.
That's it.
To put that into perspective, the Gunners have played 5,490 minutes of football this season and spent only 7.3% of that time trailing.
Even more astonishing?
▫️ Arsenal have trailed by 2+ goals for just 26 minutes ALL SEASON.
Those 26 minutes came in the Carabao Cup Final.
Not in the Premier League.
Not in the Champions League.
Not across a gruelling 61-game campaign.
Just 26 minutes.
In the Premier League, Arsenal have spent only 8.6% of match time behind on the scoreboard, the second-best record in the division.
This is what elite control looks like.
While other teams rely on comebacks, chaos and moments of magic, Arsenal's dominance starts much earlier:
🔸 Rarely fall behind
🔸 Rarely lose control of games
🔸 Relentless defensive structure
🔸Elite game management
🔸 Consistent for 90 minutes
The biggest compliment you can give Mikel Arteta's Arsenal isn't that they win.
It's that they almost never allow opponents to dictate terms.
For years, critics said Arsenal lacked mentality.
Now they're one of the hardest teams in Europe to put behind, let alone beat.
This isn't luck.
This is coaching.
This is structure.
This is control.
This is a champion's mentality. 🏆
Arsenal don’t seem to understand why they are hated by every other club. Is it the cheating? Is it the inexplicable decisions by Premier League referees? Partly. And they deny both. But mainly it is the lack of class, the sense of entitlement… I have never known a team so despised…. when you are Champions you have to stay humble and they have not.
