Author, musician, composer, audiobook producer/narrator, all-around smartass... I run the gamut for creativity and can insult you in multiple media formats.
@Wisteraverse Well… there is THAT, too, I suppose. I don’t mind breaking even if it = exposure.
But the other part of running ads that is just a complete fucking joy, though, is the number of trolls out there who feel compelled to leave horrible comments on your ad every time they see it.
@Wisteraverse You could try running Facebook ads. I tried that. However, in the end, the sales I made were about breakeven with what I spent on the ads. A couple days after the ads stopped, so did the sales.
The audiobook of Neckbeard the Awesome Pirate is finally happening! I finished recording and editing it, and it is now in the final QC process before hitting Audible and iTunes! Woot!
Stay tuned!
@Wisteraverse As I respect yours, and I do not presume to know what you’ve been through. What I know is that I will always pick up a wrench and fix a few more things in my psychological junk pile, because there is always something that breaks.
If YOU have nothing left to fix, you’ve won.
@Wisteraverse Yeah I know how much you love that, but it’s not advice… it’s my perspective. And come on, the day we are done fixing ourselves is the day we just… give up. And me personally, I won’t go out that easily. How about you?
@Wisteraverse If you end up with the same type over and over, it was never about looks. You’re not lacking looks. It’s all about having the courage to confront and admit what’s broken in yourself, and then fixing THAT. You didn’t ask my advice, but that’s my experience.
