Fair point, in this day and age I’m not sure coaching matters that much. You have guys that love UT playing for other schools that are in this tourney who left because Tony kept bringing in guys he thought were better instead of giving guys a chance to prove something.
@DenningDJ I disagree. Just because I saw the 2 decades before he arrived and then saw what happened after he took over.
Whether that was coaching or just surrounding himself with the right coaches and players, who knows. But he got it done.
Honored to have the endorsement of my dear friend, @SamuelLJackson
Sam has always shown up for the people and causes he believes in - and I am grateful he is showing up for Los Angeles.
We’re aligned on the change I’m working to bring to L.A. That means getting more people off the streets into housing and connected with comprehensive services. It means more affordable housing units being built. And it means continuing to lower crime down to historic lows.
@HoleIn1PacDunes@GovBillLee@MarshaBlackburn Do your homework. Titans/NFL, new PSL money, one time 500 million from the State, 1% hotel tax, sales tax revenue from stadium/campus revenue is funding the stadium. The increase in property tax is going to fund the city because our Mayor sucks.
I got email from Titans. Seems like a good way for them to get a butch of folks to pay 3500.00. Refund most but how much interest or return do they make in 3 years. Great idea.
@DenningDJ That's not a Titans deal, I don't think. Looks like an NFL deal. But yeah, low chance either way.
They won't add 10k either. I think it'll be closer to 65/67k.
@PaulKuharskyNFL Paul, Host teams get like 6% of tickets. Let’s say they add 10,000 temporary seats. That 4200 tickets. You have to think suite owners and sponsors get a big chunk of that. So I am paying 3500 now for a chance to get 1 of maybe 200 tickets?
The @Titans asking for a 3500.00 deposit for the chance to get Super Bowl tickets that is 3 years from now is a joke. The host team will get probably 3k tickets.
