It would be great if a tech reporter attending the Apple Event on September 9th could actually ask @Apple if they will ever release an Accessibility option to disable dithering on their MacBooks, iPads, and iPhones for people with neurological and autoimmune conditions, as well as long COVID.

The company has been silent on this issue for years and offers no flicker-free devices either in terms of PWM-free or the ability to disable spatial and temporal dithering used to achieve the P3 wide color gamut. This is becoming a problem for more and more people as COVID makes more users sensitive to flicker.
