@TheSportsManJC@IainMacBets@Caleb2Colston I never said I expected the Bears to repeat in leading the league in generating turnovers or leading the league in 4th game-winning drives. I expect year 2 of the Ben Johnson system to improve over year 1. Is that an unreasonable expectation based on year 1 results?
@IainMacBets@Caleb2Colston@TheSportsManJC “Bears aren’t that good because they were in a lot of one score games”
“Majority of NFL were in one score games”
“Bears should be able to put opponents away and not be in one score games”
“Bears won a majority of their one score games”
@IainMacBets@Caleb2Colston@TheSportsManJC Yup, when you take away the double count “Home vs Away” equaling 2 games on the NFL’s total game count, one for home team’s schedule and one for the away team’s.
The majority of NFL games were still one score games. Which makes a one score argument still a moot point
@barstoolWSD@GovPritzker@ChicagosMayor Kevin Warren inherited this clown show of a mess. The Bears & McCaskeys put their money with their mouths are. They bought the land in Arlington. They promised to pay for the stadium itself. They simply wanted tax breaks & roadways. The Illinois government said to kick rocks
@VMwhatuptho@HolderStephen The gamble here is you’re allowing the rest of the NFL to do the negotiations for you. You’re saying you don’t want to pay him $40 million per year. What if another does exactly that? You then either have to match it, or you let Jones walk away and you get nothing.
@Enisolaris@AaronLemingNFL Nice generalization. I didn’t mention 4 whole games. I mentioned 4 specific situations that were literally just like the 56 yard kickoff return. If 2 field goals aren’t blocked, there’s 2 wins. If the Hail Mary play doesn’t work, there’s 1 more win.
@dwcprodz@RR198803 Ben Johnson showed in week 1 that he’s going to go for it on 4th downs when it’s inside the opponent’s territory. So that takes away pretty much ALL chip shot FGs, which is Cairo’s bread & butter. Ben needs a kicker who can at least get the ball over the goalpost from midfield.
@SpaceXGodXodD@ProWFinesse Atlantis Jr isn’t in AAA he’s in CMLL. Atlantis Jr gets booed because he’s still overshadowed by his father’s star power. Vikingo is getting the John Cena/Roman Reigns treatment. He’s being booed because he feels like the poster boy of AAA, being shoved down fans’ throats.
@dwcprodz Secure both guard spots by trading for Rams Jonah Jackson (former Lion) & signing Lions Kevin Zeitler. Then sign Colts center Ryan Kelly.
If you do that, then drafting Jeanty at 10 wouldn’t be a bad idea. Otherwise, it feels kinda like Odunze. A good weapon, but neglecting OL.
@ESVicLE@_Corny_@GankutsuouC@Puto_Takagi Just to clarify, I ain’t saying I think Jarrett wins the World title. I think Jarrett sees himself as a living legend and thinks he could help Mox get beat by letting Mox end his career Bryan Danielson style.
@_Corny_@GankutsuouC@Puto_Takagi Jarrett’s got multiple generations of promoter in his blood. He was raised in the tradition of the territory days where old vets end their runs by losing on their back to someone younger. You put over the babyface or help the heel get heat. That’s literally all Jarrett’s doing
@SearTower What have you gotten right? I literally can’t even think of one thing. You’ve been all cryptic with your scoops and nothing has been anymore ahead of the curve than following someone like Schefty or Rappoport
@powerchowder69 @ctrino68@NFL_DovKleiman@PattonAnalytics@PFF Right, and my initial point is I believe Caleb’s numbers will look night & day better next season if the coaching is improved, the Bears don’t shop at the Dollar Store again for OL help, and Caleb himself takes a step forward as a pro.
