I love football. I love late drama. I love comebacks. I love knowing that anything is possible and feeling like we’re watching a steady stream of some of the greatest games ever. I do not love how we are expected to ignore the inconsistencies in officiating and the interventions from VAR, which have largely been heavily weighted towards certain teams and its players. If you’ve watched and followed everything in this World Cup and are still subscribed the idea that it’s all fair, delusionville must be a lovely place to reside.
🚨 Michael Jackson will be Burnley’s interim manager until the end of the season, club statement confirms.
Follows Scott Parker leaving with immediate effect.
Manchester City don't exist today without the cheating it took to build them. They've already been punished twice, with the third set to be the biggest in footballing history. They can stall, they can lie, it doesn't change the facts of the matter or what they are.
Their success is empty, a decade plus littered with as many asterisks as there are charges. A club totally corrupt to their core. They are nasty, vile & have the backing of an entire nation state, who continue to corrupt & destroy football with their influence.
An extraordinary piece of writing, explaining why the media are being so quiet & why the verdict is taking so long. A reminder why everyone should never grow tired on this or be quiet about it - it drives them crazy because they know it is true & their success is empty.
They will always eventually show their true colours!!! What absolute hogwash!! U can disagree with Mo but don't try and belittle the man's immense contribution and stellar records!! 🚮🚮
Player power ruled in this window and not for the better.
No wonder football is dying on its feet.
Players motivated by money and trappings not loyalty and love of the game.
Horrible bunch of ingrates don't realise how lucky they are.
[TAXI VIOLENCE TASK TEAMS]
The @SAPoliceService established Taxi Violence Task Teams and Taxi Violence Investigation Units, across all provinces, which specialises in all taxi related crimes.
Law enforcement agencies are constitutionally mandated to prevent and combat crime. They must also maintain public order, uphold and enforce the law and protect and secure citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
Motorists victimized by taxi associations patrollers, are urged to lay criminal charges for any act(s) of criminality (financial extortion, theft of car keys, assault, intimidation, etc)
Taxi industry stakeholder meeting will also be convened in an effort to find lasting solutions to ongoing acts of violence and intimidation between taxi associations patrollers and fellow motorists, including rival taxi associations.

[HARASSMENT AND ACTS OF CRIMINALITY BY TAXI ASSOCIATION PATROLLERS]
Taxi patrollers and/or security personnel affiliated with taxi associations who harass and coerce motorists into making financial payments under threat, termed as 'fines, constitutes financial extortion and other related criminal offenses, particularly when accompanied by additional criminal acts such as confiscating keys of fellow motorists and holding them hostage.
We strongly encourage victimized motorists to report these incidents to the South African Police Service and urge law enforcement agencies to take decisive action in stamping the authority of the state as and when such incidents are brought to their attention.
The National Commissioner of the @SAPoliceService, General SF Masemola, will task all Provincial Commissioners to adopt a zero tolerance approach in dealing with these acts of crime.
Victimized motorists are advised to press criminal charges.

Police commissioner General Masemola tells me on #TheCMShow taxi associations & patrollers have NO RIGHT to stop you on road, whether you give someone a lift or not. “They can patrol their taxis, not you as motorists”. He says he will engage provincial commissioners to address this
